Secondly, you can see the sketch I’m working on next for Ryo’s sprites. He particularly enjoys poetry and abstract literature written by humans.
In his spare time, Sitri curates the castle’s library and maintains the archives. If you asked anyone working or living at the castle, they would tell you that Sitri has an outgoing and at times flamboyant personality, however, Sitri is far more intellectual and reserved than his actions might suggest. So I hope you guys will come to love him too when the game is released. ♡ However, I must say, as I’ve written the story and really developed his character, I’ve come to love this cheeky brat haha. Oddly enough, when I first created Hellfire, Sitri was a character I personally wasn’t very fond of, but felt he was necessary for the plot.

So for this week, the biggest update has to do with the revamped sprites! As you can see, I’ve finished the lineart and base for Sitri! My plan is to finish all the sprites to this level, so that we have something to use as placeholders in the game while we continue putting the chapters in, and then finish them up when we’re a little farther along. I’ve been having a bit of trouble getting his jacket and hair just right, but we’re getting there haha. So, first up for this week, I’m happy to share some new screen caps from the prologue! I’ve begun putting in the placeholder sprites (lineart + base colors only) for Rin and Sitri, and I think they’re looking great! Cinderella Phenomenon too, has that replay-able quality to it that's hard to encounter in free otomes nowadays.Hey guys! Hope you all are having a nice Friday. Nightshade is as good as everyone says and you won't regret buying it lol. But don't let that stop you from trying it!Īnd lastly, the big names, in my opinion, are Nightshade for paid and Cinderella Phenomenon for free. I've yet to play Gakuen Club, but right now the only thing going for The Charming Empire is its aesthetics + voice actors imo. But honestly, I prefer the Yoshiwara series. The Charming Empire and Gakuen Club are from the people who made/ported the Yoshiwara games. Also, Re: Birthday Song's art is from the same person who did Ozmafia's art :) so you might like that if you enjoyed the art there.
But I personally prefer Ayakashi Gohan because the MC is voiced there. Re: Birthday Song, Ayakashi Gohan and Starry Sky ~in Spring~/~after Spring~ are all from the same company. I've yet to play Dragon Essence, but they're from the same people who made the two I just mentioned, so you can try that too if you liked the other two.
Though they're a little more puzzle game over otome, you can try hand at Area-X and X-note (they're related to each other in a way).
